The secluded village of Gundogan is just 18 km drive from Bodrum, past eye-catching rock formations and towering mountain peaks covered in pine forests. The small, peacefull villge,with its clean beaches, cafes and small restaurants that provide local food, offers an authentic ambiance to all who visit.
Previously an important fishing centre, Gundogan’s major economies are now agriculture and tourism. There are a few cosy hotels and seaside restaurants that proudly serve the fresh catches of the day.
A coastal road takes up a majority of the beach front and the numerous jetties provide plently of comfortable, private spots for both sun-bathing and swimming. There are boats available for daily rent at the harbour.
Gundogan also offers some interesting historical sites. Accross the bay is Kucuk tavsan (Little Rabbit) Island, where an old greek church sits on top of a hill. A step climb up the ridge just outside the upper village leads to a flight of fifty steps cut intothe rock and the entrance to a small spectacularly sited monastery. In addition, on the far side of the main Yalikavak – Torba road, across from upper village, an old Ottoman tower is nestled in the lush pine forest. Not to be left out, nature lovers can take advantage of the guided trecking that explores the surrounding countryside.

This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom semi-detached villa is located right in the town centre of Gundogan. This villa has air-conditioning in the living room and all bedrooms, comes with kitchen appliances, sattelite dish and tv. The interior layout of the villa is as follows: On the ground floor there is a patio that leads into the living room and kitchen (combined). One of the bedrooms and a bathroom (with toilet, basin and shower) is also on the ground floor. On the first floor there are two other double bedrooms and a bathrooom (with toilet, basin, and a jacuzzi bath with shower combined). A terrace on the first floor seperates the two bedrooms and overlooks the complex swimming pool. On the top level of this villa there is another terrace. The complex where this villa is situated consists of 10 semi-detached villas in total. The complex has a communal swimming pool and the beach is very conveniently located 300 meters away on a flat walking surface.
